Put gauges on and found low side in a deep vacuum. Charged up with some Freon and now there is an even frost pattern. Checked all connections at compressor and filter drier found no leaks. Suspected leak in one of the evaporators needs system leak checked with nitrogen and evaporator replacement possibly. Explained to customer quote is good for a week and if they call back within the week then service charged would be deducted from estimate.

"When pulling unit out there was not enough room because of counter to get behind unit. Cs signed waiver and explained issue. Had sliders and cs helped me move unit., layout of kitchen I could only be on one side. When unit was moved back with customers help it did mark up floor on side cs was helping on, he was fine with it, took photo. Replaced compressor and held vacuum, return line getting hot, bending drier processor tube to fit behind cover and it snapped off. Pinched off processor tube on drier and soldered closed. Pulled unit into vacuum and held pressure fine. Charged with 5.5 oz r134a. Unit running and fr cooling, return line hot.Was going to replace thermistor cover up n fr, but cs said to leave it, has part of we ever need to go back in n, wont affect operation"

Cx complaint that the unit is not cooling well in the FC. I inspected the unit to confirm the complaint. I found the compressor and fans are working fine. The RC is cooling fine. The pantry drawer UI is in good condition. The condenser is not covered in excessive lint. I ran tests 6 for the defrost heater. The heater came on and the ice began indicated by sizzling when the water hit the defrost element. The unit is not going into defrost and the controls needs to be replaced to resolve the issue. I called Techline to document the issue. They concluded that the main power and UI controls need to be replaced to resolve the issue. I quoted the cx and collected the service call fee by CC.Sr7739160065

"Complaint not making ice dispenses water just fine and its cooling just fine. I found upon arrival that power switch to icemaker was turned to the off position. I turned icemaker on and icemaker, cycled itself and dumped the ice that was already in the bin and filled with water appropriate level. I found refrigerator freezer section was set to the coldest setting. It could be. I adjusted setting back to the middle where it was supposed to be as well. No further issues found with refrigerator or icemaker at this time."
