Cx complaint that the unit has thermal damage in the cavity. I inspected the unit and confirmed the complaint. There is thermal damage on the roof of the cavity. I called techline to document the issue (WP safety was closed for the day). Techline said the wave guide cover needs to be replaced to safely use the MW. I quoted the cx for the and told them not to use the MW until the wave guide cover is replaced.Sr7736689708

"Cx complaint that the unit is not cooling at all. I inspected the unit to confirm the complaint. Both areas are very warm. The lights and fan are working fine. The compressor is not running consistently, but it is very hot to the touch. The compressor tries to start every few minutes for a few seconds then turns off. Cx complaint that the units light does not working. I inspected the unit and confirmed the complaint. The light switch lever is not staying in place. I removed the light switch and found the connector head missing on one of the wires. The yellow wire only has an exposed wire at its end. The other connector is fine. One batch of ice three days ago has not dropped ice since then gasket on the bottom of the freezer is not attached to the freezer door gasket on the refrigerator. Also falling off. I found gaskets were not properly installed into door channel. I install door gaskets into channel. I also had to heat door gaskets to reform gaskets as gaskets were heavily warped doors are not warped, no issues with doors. Door handles are missing caps. I am ordering caps and icemaker. I tried to cycle, icemaker by hand and ice got stuck would not dispense ice after 15 minutes of waiting for icemaker to finish cycling had the heat icemaker with hairdryer heater is not coming on on the bottom of the icemaker. "7736683628 Whirlpool techline file number. Per Whirlpool replace heating element again because heating element is warped due to water overspray leaking causing heater to heat up and warp. Also replace spray arms all three. And go from there. Tech line also stated if that does not fix it order and replace inner door assembly and tub with hinges. Whirlpool not advising replacement of tub and inner door assembly yet nor hinges door is laying level not going past 90° does not act as if it has bent. Hinges door is closing properly and sealing properly not coming open in the middle of a cycle per customer no heavy Sudsing and customers video when dishwasher started to leak. Customer stated dishwasher did not leak for seven days after last repair had no issues and then after seven days it started leaking. Leak usually occurs from half way point in the dishwasher cycle towards the end of the dishwasher cycle is very intermittent when dishwasher will leak some days it will not leak other days it will leak using the exact same normal cycle with high temp wash and heated dry no other options selected. No Sudsing issues occurring when water is leaking. I suspect sprayer may be getting stuck. Causing overspray condition to occur. "Found moisture sitting on top of freezer door gasket. I also found the bottom gasket on right hand refrigerator door was not completely sealing at bottom to frame. Heat treated the door gasket to make it a secure fit. There was no moisture present on mullion bar, or inside refrigerator. It appears the moisture was coming from bottom of left hand fridge door where gasket was not sealing. Put unit into service mode and all operations are normal. Advised customer to keep and eye on it and if needed call back. At this time, the only problem found was corrected. Unit ran and checked ok(Call complete)"

Found frost and condensation forming in fresh food section where cold air enters from freezer. Found the bottom of refrigerator damaged. There is a 1/4-1/2inch gap all the way along bottom and cabinet is damaged causing warm air to migrate. Unit over 30 days old cosmetics and cabinet damage not covered. Called tech support was given this SR#7736678814 customer to call customer care to see options.

Found unit partially unplugged therefore getting improper power. Plugged in fully and heat now working.

Found no issues with the cooling in the evaporator side. And no issues with the heating element and bimetal. Found 120v to the element. Found gasket on the freezer door top corners not sealing correctly and bad control board. Adjusted the defrost from Adaptive to Basic and mentioned to the customer to keep an eye on the unit and see if the problem arises. Customer mentioned not to do any work on leds yet. Collected trip fee.

Complaint that the unit is not cooling properly. Found unit unplugged. Measured correct voltage to start relay but not switching compressor on. Replaced start relay device and unit cooling properly. Customer says temps in both refrigerator and freezer fluctuating. One day it is good next day too warm. Tested and ran diagnostics. Freezer thermistor tests open. Ordering evaporator fan assembly and control.; ordrng 1 W11224256 (Control) and 1 W11578030 (Evaporator fan assembly)

"Tested unit and found ice building up on bottom of freezer cabinet, found ice building due to drain clogged. Found when defrosting unit would not drain into pan and freeze, melted ice and found drain tube clogged up causing water to over flow and freeze, cleared drain and ran water thew unit all operations now working to specs"
