"Older Amana unit giving cooling issues, leaking issues, gasket cracked and lights have gone out.Adjusted temperature to coldest and advanced defrost timer, did not come on, looks to have lost power.Flipping breaker has unit running again, but with being off cannot tell how well system has been working as everything is warm. Did put into defrost and defrost timer running ok, came back out on its own. Found rear drain tube in rf clogged and iced over, cleared and draining ok, that would have been source of leaking and because leaking defrost should be working ok.Left estimate for gasket, but at this time everything else seems to be functioning., when door is closed gasket looks to be sealing mostly."

"Checked over unit and found oven displaying f8e0 error witch is a cooling fan speed to low checked oven for a cooling fan and unit does not have a cooling fan just a convection fan, checked all connection on max in cntrl and found yellow connection not pushed in all the way making good contact reset wire and tried running a bake cycle but same issue unit erroring out, ran a control reset to reprogram cntrl and unit started to operate heated unit to 350 degrees and oven got to temp and operated normally. Going to order new control, main harness and a fan motor unit had been miss communicating causing error oven does not have a cooling fan in it. Advised when parts come in we would call for return visit parts are a special order, this stove should be replaced with new they just plugged it in and it didnt work installers left with there working stove they took out ; ordrng 1 W11594263 (Cntrl) and 1 W11451724 (Main harness) and 1 W10903746 (Convection fan)"

Cx complaint that the unit is not completing cycles. I inspected the unit to confirm the complaint. I found no error codes. I noticed the switch on the wall for the DW is more loose than normal. I turned on the unit and wiggled The switch side to side while in the on position while running a normal cycle. The unit turned turned on and off as I wiggled the switch. The loose connection in the switch is the issue. The cx needs an electrician to repair the switch. The unit seems to be working fine

"Cx complaint that the unit is freezing food (eggs) in the RC. I inspected the unit to confirm the complaint. The unit is cooling fine in both compartments. I ran multiple tests in service mode, all components are running fine. I found the cx has shelf mats that are hanging off the rear end touching the back wall, which blocks good air flow. The food freezing currently are eggs, he has them on the top shelf. I suggested to adjust the damper door baffle to allow less air flow to the RC, as well as move the shelf mats to not block the rear edges. I mentioned placing the eggs on a lower shelf could help prevent them from freezing. I collected the service call by CC."

"Cx complaint that the unit does not show water temp on certain cycles or start cycles. I inspected the unit to confirm the complaint. I found no error codes and ran a service cycle. All components passed with no issues. I noticed that when no temp lights are on it indicates tap cold water will be used for the cycle. The cx has the option to adjust the water temp. I pressed the temp button on the cycles that have no lights on, it successfully adjusted the water temp. I attempted to run a normal cycle and whites cycle, both started with no issues. The cx needs to hold the button until the unit start and adjust the temp according to their preference. The unit is working as designed."
