Checked heater circuit and connections at heater. Heater measures 23.8 ohms and no loose or bad connections in freezer. Called whirlpool tech support and was told to check evaporator temperature sensor. Found reading of 544ohms. This indicates a bad sensor. They believe we either have intermittent freezing or high water pressure. Would need a plumber to verify water pressure under 100 psi, but can turn valve not fully open when replacing valve.
