"Complaint of lower oven not heating properly. We replaced igniter last September and had quoted for a control board. Had ge come out and they did a software update. Ge tech, per cs, wasnt too sure, was going to replace the control, sensor and u/I, but then said he believed it is an igniter issue, to replace with a ge igniter.Tested on bake at 350, preheated fine and went through multiple cycles, each time igniting within 10s.Cs says the failure is usually like 20 or so minutes into cooking. Cs says you will hear clicking like 8 times in a row when failing, instead of the normal clicks of operation. Sounds like relay failure on control, but could not replicate in testing, went through 10+ cycles with no failure.Quoted for control/labor. Accepted. Collected in full via cc. "Cs was getting some black ice cubes. She went to show me and cubes dispensed were fine, removed bin and all cubes in bin were fine. Cs showed me some pictures of the colored cubes. There was some splashes of black around icemaker. Something either worked through water system or was a faulty filter (was black like carbon in filter). They had replaced the water filter but still had some colored cubes after. They did not know how to removed bin, so cubes could have been from previous fills before filter change. Cleaned icemaker/bin area and dumped old cubes. Cs to monitor fresh cubes."
