"Gearcase leaking water bearing locked up tub sounds like a gravel road when spun by hand I found F3e3 inlet temp fault f7e1 tachometer missing signal failure f9e9 unknown error drain f5e4 latch failure error codes on new ui in fault history upon boot up same as old ui after unplugging all wires from lower unit that have been water damaged original ui was locked up until I unplugged everything from underneath drive motor, actuator, drain pump, unit will need gear case main control drain pump drive motor actuator cam assembly wash plate will have to be broken to remove as it is seized and spanner nut to fix. I replaced ui today and left everything unplugged under ui going to lower end. Drain pump resistance is 26.8 ohms hi resistance should be around 19 ohms causing damage to main control. I found corroded harness as well due to water damage caused by Gearcase leaking. Customers complaint is washer leaking. Tested several times and couldnt find a leak. After a while saw a small drip from supply hose. Recommend customer replace hoses.

Found the ice drawer stuck in place. Found right side ice bin rail stuck. Was able to thaw out and dry out rail and get ice bin to start sliding in and out properly. The freezer door is closing and sealing properly. If problem continues will need new ice drawer rails.

I replaced harness performed a DLS calibration cycle discovered control board was not needed at this time. All functions are working properly washing just fine and agitating just fine and draining with no further issues found. Customer had a load of laundry going before I could fully depart.

"Complaint unit is not making ice. Top shelf of the fresh food zone is over freezing food as well. I found icemaker has an E5 error code icemaker timed out. I found Phil tube is clear not frozen icemaker is cycling just fine. As of right now I suspect, the issue with icemaker or control board issue or three-way valve assembly issue occurring a loss of cooling in the freezer zone. Section potential. Advising customer to replace control board, three-way valve, solenoid and icemaker all at the same time. Customer declined repair here today is going to potentially look at replacement optionsas of right now"

Concern is steam or smoke while in aqua lift clean cycle. Inspected and found customer put water in base and ran a self clean per manual instruct and unit steamed and burnt off residue inside oven and customer was unaware of this style operation. Cycled unit to 400 degrees in bake and all functions tests normal at this time.
