"Unit not heating, getting 240vac at terminal. Found open heating element. Wiring damaged to thermostat. Quoted for hi limit thermostat kit and heating element. Approved.Replaced thermostat and element. Tested on timed dry and heating properly.Cs also said unit just kept running when failing to heat, verified timer action on timed dry, sensor dry would have kept going as long as clothes were wet.; used 1 279838 (ELEMENT), and 1 279816 (THERMAL KIT) from stock"

"Retuned to install control ordered by previous tech. Installed part and reassembled, ran diagnostic cycle and valve started spraying out water during sensing cycle and unit started leaking from door again. Called techline. (Valve relay J8-1 / j8-3 ) called techline to inform valve is spraying during diagnostic cycle and only cut off when door was opened. Techline said too much pressure coming out of valve, try to see if too much pressure at home, if valve is operating properly. Sr#7737477975 . Checked pressure and pressure is high but cant check exact pressure. valve is cutting off when replay cuts off. During normal operation and running during sensing. Informed customer unit is working as designed, cloths being added to load or reducing water pressure to machine will solve issue. Customer said he will try that and wife was upset and wanted to exchange dryer. Husband was really nice and understanding."

"I replaced all previously ordered parts due to machine, making an abnormal ticking noise after replacing all parts machine is no longer making ticking noise. Everything is working properly. No error codes and fault. History did notice. Lots of lint. Stuck to blower wheel. Also noticed a lot of back pressure that kept blowing vent off the back of the dryer during testing. No additional issues found. left all original parts with customer."

"Found the unit level and in wash cycle when I arrived. Customer complaint is the unit gets off balance. When I was here previously I found the top not fastened down to frame properly and able to lift it up and down I reattached the top to frame and leveled machine. The suspension rods are good, I explained to the customer about out of balance issue that may be experienced with this machine. To correct it by redistributing the weight, customer doesnt like the unit and wants it changed out. Customer feels the unit has been dropped I cannot see any other damages to suggest that. At this time Im contacting whirlpool Tech support to document customers complaint on this unit. "Installed valves, problem persisted. Switch is not getting stuck but valve staying open intermittently allowing water to push through. Valve does not sound energized when water pushes through, issue sounds like a water hammer could solve it as the sound is of pressure pushing water through. Nothing else could be causing the problem, will advise customer to check on water pressure and run a simple troubleshooting tonight that will show the problem."
