Complaint will not dry clothing on any cycle. I found issue is due to a venting out. Issue restricted vent. Unit will need venting issues. Fixed hose behind. Dryer is completely collapsed. Not enough room behind dryer unit will need a flat vent as dryer is larger than customers previous dryer per Customer. Dryer is getting hot. As of now. "Ran dryer and found unit would shut off when running a cycle after ten min of drying, ran diagnostics and found no errors ran a self test and unit would get into the test then shut off not allowing any selections tried again and same issue could not get into diagnostics to checked moisture sensors. Checked venting and unit is venting out of the back vent is clean and short, checked heater and thermal cutoff and found not reading correctly found heater short cycling and shutting off also found wile unit would run a sensor cycle the whole unit would shut off after 5 to ten min of running with wet clothes in unit. Unit buttons sometimes responds sometimes it doesnt. The customer will go trip breaker so dishwasher will reset. The unit also does not always dry the dishes and sometimes the soap dispenser does not open soap gets left in dispenser. This unit is 10 yrs old and will need some parts replace to get it back up to operating normal. All the leds do not light up giving you normal wash option. Stated that they were told by Whirlpool that there would not be any charge per customer unit was purchased April 2022 came with home. Customer unable to provide purchase receipt here today, customer called Whirlpool. Whirlpool confirmed out of warranty. Must provide purchase receipt stating within one year warranty. Found dryer with power but no operation found thermal fuse open replaced thermal fuse advised customer to not push dryer back against wall it will pinch the external vent hose and also advised customer if experiencing long dry times may want to have external venting checked for restriction.
