Compressor has been replaced before, according to customer it has been replaced twice in the last year. Used bubble solution to check for leaks, no visible signs of leaks. Took amp draw on compressor, running at 1.3 amps. Called tech line spoke to Aaron SR# 7738978368, gave him all information. He said unit would need to be tapped, and pressures taken, then unplugged to check how long it takes to equalize. The remove refrigerant, charge with nitrogen to 140psi let unit sit under pressure for 20 minutes and check for leaks.Currently do not have equipment to do this as my van is n the shop and I am in a spare van. Customer complained unit not drying. Found vent was run to under porch and reduced airflow. Could not get under porch to inspect. Unit didnt pass vent test kit test. Passed when unhooked from home exhaust line. Verified proper operation when not hooked up to home exhaust. Informed customer to run new exhaust line so unit can work as designed. Complaint cooktop is leaking gas smell gas intermittently. I found center burner rear right and front right burner are all leaking gas unit will need new manifold or valves to replace also found burner cap are all corroded will have to replace all five burner holders and screws as well. Unit has a double regulation system attached underneath new leaking from regulators at this time found. Whirlpool Safety stating they will not cover parts or labor as unit is out of warranty. Checked and tested dryer. Dryer heating and cycling normally. Found that vent hose is being crimped and restricted when dryer is pushed into place causing airflow restriction. Advised customer this will cause long dry times and dryer to overheat stressing components. Customer is going to see about shortening hose and possibly redirecting vent.Dryer operating as designed.

"Came to install parts ordered by previous tech. Charged unit with nitrogen to inspect for leaks, no leaks detected. Installed new compressor, charged 50g r600. Found unit has restriction in evap. Evap that was ordered was damaged. Part was not in box and had been damaged somehow. Compressor stem was also bent and little and shipped on its side but was able to fix stem and compressor was installed successfully . Ordering evap and lokring parts due to lockring parts not being ordered previously and will need to lockring evap on return call. Cx complaint that the unit is not heating and had a thermal event. I inspected the unit to confirm the complaint. There has been significant thermal damage at the terminal block and power cord. Both need to be replaced to resolve the issue. I called WP safety to document the issue. Cx is responsible for parts and labor. I quoted the cx for the repair.
