"Cx complaint that the unit is still emitting a gaseous smell. I inspected the unit to confirm the complaint. There is no gas being detected from the burner heads or any connections under the unit. The smell is coming from the drawer directly under the unit. I turned 3 burners on to detect the gas then turned them off, no gas was detected in the vicinity of those burners. However, when I put the head of my gas detector directly on the orifice of the burner just turned off I still detected gas. I called techline to document this situation. They said gas remnants detected from a line just turned off is normal. The gas is only detected when I placed the gas detector directly on the orifice head. No gas was detected from the lines that were not turned on during my visit, only from the lines turned on then shut off.Sr 7737856018"

"Checked compressor when checking parts first thing in morning, compressor came in a box that was inside another box. The outer box was fine, opened outer box and could see damage to inside box from compressor inside. Compressor was also sitting on its side in inside box, which caused it the bend the right line on the compressor and crimping it , also rubber plug is ripped off inside the other line going in compressor. unit is damaged and cant be used. Ordering new compressor and setting couple to keeping for return visit. Called customer to inform the office will call when part comes in. "Complaint is not a drain issue. Washer is draining properly. Customer showed me a video of washer in spin making a banging noise. Entered diagnostics, no stored error codes. Called tech line spoke to Austin SR# 7737329433. He had me run diagnostics automatic test, completed properly. Reentered diagnostics, checked again for errors, none stored. He then said that indicated nothing mechanically wrong with washer. No recommended part or repair. Advised customer to call Whirlpool customer service and if possible send video to them."

"Tested unit and found ice maker in fridge section not making ice and leaking when trying to make ice, checked ice maker and found ice mold broken causing mold to fall down and leak water out, found ice maker cracked causing issue. Replaced faulty ice maker and cycled unit found ice maker not filling and working properly. Checked over fridge section and customer had been having an issue with lower draw freezing food checked thermistors and found reading correct adjusted temps in fridge and freezer stopped some of the air from flowing into draw to help with freezing. "Checked over freezer and found unit had started working just the high temp light was on, checked cooling and found evap frosting all the way to the bottom, noticed sides of cabinet on unit hot. Checked compressor and found running hot to the touch, wile in basement noticed the temps down there are super hot from furnace running had to be over 80 degrees advised them the down stairs it to hot for the freezer to run right its over heating the compressor and shutting down there is no cool air flowing in basement. Added a fan they had to help circulate the air advised they will need some circulation down there to help with freezer the unit is working properly just over heating once air is moving better it will stop it from shutting down"
