Customer started a load before I got here , she ran quick wash clothes were at normal dampness with water pulled from them, she thought it was too much, Informed her thats normal dampness. Ran another normal wash with speed on fast. Noticed spin speeds were from low to fast on all the cycles she used. Unit washed and ran and clothes were at normal dampness at end. Called techline to inform on situation, no error codes, clothes are damp but normal at end of every cycle I run in home, Aside from too much suds the one time I came. Informed customer she needs to make sure spin speed is higher if she wants more water drained from clothes at end, also informed customer if load is too big or uneven it could get off balance . "I replaced tub assembly performed a control board calibration procedure tested operations abnormalities are out of balance issues occurring with tub empty. Customers comparing this machine to a direct drive washing machine. She had 20 years ago for over 20 years. Instructed customer she cannot just dump a load into this machine directly from a basket has to sortclothing based on type cotton with cotton synthetic with synthetic customer is extremely unhappy that she cannot use it like her old model that she has to load it a very certain way, or it will go out of balance. Cannot just throw everything in the tub also customer very angry that we will not haul away any of her old parts or damaged parts, customer called Whirlpool was not happy with what they told her either and hung up. No issues found with washing machine advised customer that if we come back and we find it is a loading issue that is causing washing machine to go out of balance she will be charged a diagnostics fee for coming out of $129 plus tax."

"Checked over machine and found unit shaking and moving all over the floor when washing and when spinning, checked level and found unit shaking back and forth due to legs not down and touching the floor. Leveled machine and recalibrated control ran a wash cycle with towels and unit is now spinning and washing properly. Adjusted drain hose to stop from shaking and hitting machine advised customer on loading even loads and using a deep water cycle to help move the clothes around better. All operations are now working to specs"

"Tested unit and found when plugging unit back in washer would go right to a drain cycle and never stop, canceled out cycle and ran a diagnostics checked for errors and found no codes, ran a calibration to reset control and unit went thew properly. Advised customer when plugging unit in it will take a few second to activate cntrls this is normal also if needing to cancel out the cycle you have to hold the cancel button until you hear it click or drain customer was not holding cancel long enough. Ran a wash and spin checked all functions and unit is now operating to factory specs"

"Complaint right hand door staying open popping open whenever left-hand door is closed. I found complaint true only fix is for customer to open and close the doors properly by first opening the right hand door then the left-hand door with the mullion strip on it first then closing the left-hand door first, then closing the right hand door last. Improper closure of the door will cause the mullion strip to pop the right hand door open slightly allowing for door to stay open unless customer gives it a secondary push to close it the rest of the way. No additional issues found no fix for the issues, except for opening and closing the doors in that specific order. Unit is leveled properly and installed properly"

"Could not get any racks out of unit and I also found broke wires coming from side of wall cabinet. Yes, I I know how to remove shelving even directions on service matter how to remove racks. Not one rack would come out and the screws holding the door on had no head meaning just a rivet head. I spoke with Drew at whirlpool tech support he sent it up to engineering and they may or may not reach out. This particular unit had many problems for the record I had the customer try and remove the racks as well and could not. Has been sent to review for replacementSR#7737977620 (Drew)"

"Cx complaint that the unit is knocking heavily while it runs. I inspected the unit to confirm the complaint. I found no error codes and ran a service cycle. All components passed with no issues, I did hear the knocking noise from the rear panel. I checked the rear panel, it was crooked creating the knocking noise. I corrected the rear panel position and tested the unit for the cx. The unit is working as designed."

"Cx complaint that the unit is leaking gas. I inspected the unit to confirm the complaint. I found the gas off, I turned on the gas and tested the burners. All the burners work, I used my gas detector to check for any clear leaks. When I turned the burners on then turned them off, I found no leaks, I only found residual gas detected when I put the gas detector head directly on the burner. The cx may have not fully closed the the valve when finishing the use of a valve. The unit is working as designed. Cx wanted a quote for an applicable part for the repair, I suggested a manifold if anything."

"Cs is getting f9e1 drain issue. Unit pulled out on arrival, cs had cleaned drain hose. no water in unit. started a cycle and keeps running drain pump until errors out.In diagnostics f9e1 is only error on n history, cleaned and went through cycle. Completed and tried normal cycle again. Went through cycles fine. Let run for 15 minutes, cancelled and drained fine. Ran two more times. Only thing noticed was on the water inlet assy above the internal drain loop it was filled with mold. That does not connect to air hole, on top of intake, looks to be sealed and doesnt interfere with drain operation.Collected for labor and saved estimate for control if continues to reoccur."

"Unit beeping when trying to start cycle, works intermittently. Did same in testing, not sensing lid closed. F5e4 not sensing lid opened between cycles, cleared history. Ran diagnostic cycle and worked in testing.Quoted for lid lock/labor, approved.Replaced lid lock and ran diagnostic cycle fine. Started and stopped normal cycle multiple times with no issue, opening/closing lid multiples times.Instructed cs that unit still will just beep if pressing start and not holding it down for a second, to not confuse it with still failing.; used 1 W10810403 (DOOR LOCK) from stock"
