Complaint seen bright flash of light followed by a loud boom then oven shut off and cooktop would not work. I found main harness was pinched. And shorted to frame causing main harness to fail. I found main control also has a stuck door latch relay latch unit also has a burnt infinite switch that is smoking when element is turned on. Front right. Unit will need main control main harness and infinite switch to repair. Called whirlpool tech line file number 7740274518 safety file number 7740245372 safety team phone number (866) 550-5136 safety deemed unit non-repairable due to cost of parts. Does not wanna move forward with repair.

"Upon arrival you didnt have made a little ice down icemaker mold was full of ice. Ran harvest Eunice harvested ran field unit field no signs of overfilling in ice spin. Started running all other checks with icemaker found icemaker fan not coming on. Found voltage to fan. took out icemaker assembly found water that had overfilled from previous issue with valve was blocking fan . was able to get rid of ice and fan came on again during service test. Ran icemaker fill again with with icemaker mold empty , unit did not overfill. Informed Customer issue was resolved . verified proper operation."

"Unit is under 1yr wp warranty. Cs says it has been turning off during cycle. Has on extension to different outlet and is working now. Had tested a heater on same circuit that had worked. Possibly weak breaker. Ran several cycles attached to extension and different outlet. Completed a 2 minute, 3 minute and 4 minute cycle fine. Heating properly. Unit operating properly."

"Rf not cooling, had found whole upper section of evap clogged on last visit and throughly steamed clear. Again no air flow today. In diagnostics thermistors working, damper working, evap/condensor fans working. Defrost working. Allowed unit to run defrost with fan on until air flow restored. Door seal fine, a small tear in left rf gasket leaves a small hole, thought too small to affect and expensive part, but could contribute. Seems to be too small for failure in 12 days since being fully steamed clear. With other functions all passing and testing ok it could be a control issue.Left defrost on until defrost thermistor hit 90 degrees with fan running to move air..Quoted for gasket and let cs know next would be control as all function and sensors test properly in units test mode.No additional cost collected for today and customer will think over quote"

Mike called Cust to load dishwasher and run on a normal cycle with soap and dishes.When arrived was dripping Opened and then was a lot of soap in dishwasher was loaded correctly Did video chat with Mike Said to flush cold water with vinegar and change soap to finish.Ran normal cycle to205 after cleaning with no dishes.No foam up left in dishwasher.I advised Cust more that once to change soap and do regular cleaning to break soap build up down.Didnt leak after cleaning

"Complaint the unit makes a buzzing clicking noise when the Mw door is open as well as when trying to heat. Does not heat just clicks and buzzes. Mw not working. Console randomly becomes unresponsive. Breaker has been turned on and off to try to reset with no help. When it does try to work the timer goes back and forth between 30-28 seconds. Needs new control, inverter, mag, transformer, light and console. "Cs had another company out who had replaced the sump assy, had issues with mice. After repair it has leaked from left front while empty. He had them back out and they adjusted, but still leaks. Cs has since adjusted it himself some snow leaks from both front corners.Definitely not square, door rubs on right side, and not tilted back. Pulled unit out a little raised front as far as could and unit is square. Ran cycle empty. Cs said it would start mid cycle so let it run for 20+ minutes with no leaking. Door insulation dry."
