Cx complaint that the unit is emitting a strong gas smell. I inspected the unit to confirm the complaint. All cooktop burners as well as oven functions are working fine. I used my gas detector to find any potential gas leaks. I found none. The cx said a plumber alleged that the leak is from the oven. I ran multiple bake and broil cycles and found leaks according to the electronic leak detector. I adjusted the burner tube valve to help burner more gas while it cooks. I explained to the cx that gas smell will be prevalent while its cooking. True gas leaks are detected even while its not running. The unit is working as designed.

"Customer complained unit not working. Found unit didnt have proper power. L2- neutral has 249.6v, L1-neutral has .80 v . L1-L2 has 249 v. Unit has issue with power, issue with neutral or something , checked power with unit unplugged and found same issue , Issue is with power at home. Informed customer she needs to pay and she just ignored the request. Said she took unit to neighbor house and it worked and started explaining why it wasnt the electrical, it was the dryer. Informed customers having a malfunctioning neutral can cause other parts in unit to malfunction which is possibly why unit wont work at all now. Left home and Called tech line to report findings.
