"Customer says her loads are not getting water out of cloths has to run drain / spin after. Customer started a load before I got here , she ran quick wash clothes were at normal dampness with water pulled from them, she thought it was too much, Informed her thats normal dampness. Ran another normal wash with speed on fast. Noticed spin speeds were from low to fast on all the cycles she used. Unit washed and ran and clothes were at normal dampness at end. Called techline to inform on situation, no error codes, clothes are damp but normal at end of every cycle I run in home, Aside from too much suds the one time I came. "I replaced tub assembly performed a control board calibration procedure tested operations abnormalities are out of balance issues occurring with tub empty. Customers comparing this machine to a direct drive washing machine. She had 20 years ago for over 20 years. Instructed customer she cannot just dump a load into this machine directly from a basket has to sortclothing based on type cotton with cotton synthetic with synthetic customer is extremely unhappy that she cannot use it like her old model that she has to load it a very certain way, or it will go out of balance. Cannot just throw everything in the tub also customer very angry that we will not haul away any of her old parts or damaged parts, customer called Whirlpool was not happy with what they told her either and hung up. "Complaint right hand door staying open popping open whenever left-hand door is closed. I found complaint true only fix is for customer to open and close the doors properly by first opening the right hand door then the left-hand door with the mullion strip on it first then closing the left-hand door first, then closing the right hand door last. Improper closure of the door will cause the mullion strip to pop the right hand door open slightly allowing for door to stay open unless customer gives it a secondary push to close it the rest of the way. No additional issues found no fix for the issues, except for opening and closing the doors in that specific order. Unit is leveled properly and installed properly"

I spoke with Drew at whirlpool tech support he sent it up to engineering and they may or may not reach out. This particular unit had many problems for the record I had the customer try and remove the racks as well and could not. Has been sent to review for replacementSR#7737977620 (Drew)"

"Cx complaint that the unit is knocking heavily while it runs. I inspected the unit to confirm the complaint. I found no error codes and ran a service cycle. All components passed with no issues, I did hear the knocking noise from the rear panel. I checked the rear panel, it was crooked creating the knocking noise. I corrected the rear panel position and tested the unit for the cx. The unit is working as designed."

"Cx complaint that the unit is leaking gas. I inspected the unit to confirm the complaint. I found the gas off, I turned on the gas and tested the burners. All the burners work, I used my gas detector to check for any clear leaks. When I turned the burners on then turned them off, I found no leaks, I only found residual gas detected when I put the gas detector head directly on the burner. The cx may have not fully closed the the valve when finishing the use of a valve. The unit is working as designed. Cx wanted a quote for an applicable part for the repair, I suggested a manifold if anything."

"Cs is getting f9e1 drain issue. Unit pulled out on arrival, cs had cleaned drain hose. no water in unit. started a cycle and keeps running drain pump until errors out.In diagnostics f9e1 is only error on n history, cleaned and went through cycle. Completed and tried normal cycle again. Went through cycles fine. Let run for 15 minutes, cancelled and drained fine. Ran two more times. Only thing noticed was on the water inlet assy above the internal drain loop it was filled with mold. That does not connect to air hole, on top of intake, looks to be sealed and doesnt interfere with drain operation.Collected for labor and saved estimate for control if continues to reoccur."

"Complaint harness has bear wire, showing underneath cooktop Im afraid to leave the unit plugged in as sparks occur. Whenever the cooktop is barely moved. I found wiring had been stripped back, causing sparking to occur and was fair underneath cooktop. I found wiring issues caused damage to infinite switches had to replace both infinite switches for rear right front left Large surface elements I replaced and repaired harness with service kit as well advised customer to be very cautious when cooking with oils to prevent flame up from occurring underneath cooktop which ultimately led to condition. Customer also complaining that the large elements have never glowed red hot like the small surface elements, and also is complaining that he does not like the unit as it does not seem to heat properly like the old ones without the medallion and the center used to. Nothing I can do about the UL listed medallion burners. Starting in 2018, UL (Underwriter's Laboratory) regulations require all electric coil top ranges to have temperature limiting capabilities to reduce the risk of cooktop oil and grease fires. As a result, our electric coil burners now use Sensi-Temp Technology. Each burner with this technology has a silver medallion with a button (sensor) in the center of the coil. This button must make contact with the bottom of the cookware for the Sensi-Temp Technology to sense the temperature properly. When the sensor detects a pan temperature near the limit (450 degrees F), the burner will shut off automatically until a lower, safe pan temperature is reached. At that point, the burner will resume heating. Sensi-Temp burners on ranges and cooktops manufactured on or after the regulatory change cannot be replaced with burners without Sensi-Temp Technology; used 2 WP3149404 (INFINITE SWITCH) from stock"
