Jeremy made two trips to our home because water was collecting under a bin on the door of the refrigerator. He is very knowledgeable, polite and explained everything that he was checking. After a thorough examination of the LG, he could not determine what was causing the problem. He googled LG and described the problem. The response: Don't open the door so much! The two of us had a good laugh at that. BUT, that is the answer. Because our air conditioning had died 3 weeks prior, the humidity in the house was extremely high. It was getting into the fridge every time I opened the door!! This was during a heat wave. We are very pleased with Jeremy as a repair person. We would definitely request him again if we needed service.

Sadly we have a combination Bosch microwave/convection oven that’s part of a built-in double unit that also includes a full-size wall oven, and starting about 10 months ago, the microwave/convection unit started giving us problems. It’s 6 years old so it’s well out of warranty. Jeremy initially diagnosed a series of issues that seemed to be coming from some fault in the door, or a switch that the door activates when opening or closing. We replaced a fuse first (starting with the least expensive potential issue) and ultimately ended up replacing both the door and a wiring harness (and a switch, too, I think). Now 10 months later, the fuse went again so he came out and replaced it for us with no charge for the fuse (labor only) and it’s working again. All of the above, starting back 10 months ago, has resulted in 4 or 5 visits, but Advantage hasn’t charged anytime they’ve had to come back due to a part not being on the truck at the initial diagnostic visit, or if there was anything that they even might have misdiagnosed. They’re a responsive, honest company with good techs who want the customer to be happy. Hopefully we won’t need any more servicing for this stupid microwave, but I wouldn’t hesitate to call Advantage again if we do, or if anything go arises with any other appliance they service!
