"Tested washer and found unit had started to leak when customer would use unit ran a wash cycle and checked leaking finding gearcase bearing and seal faulty found water coming out off seal when unit would spin and it would be black water due to bearing failure. Unit need new gearcase,cam and belt also found switch for water broken and hanging off will need to replace switch due to broken clips. All parts tentative p/a ; rqstng P&A on 1 W11449840 (Gearcase) and 1 W11239857 (Belt) and 1 W11662334 (Switch) and 1 W10721967 (Cam)"

"Teted in it and found washer woulld work and start washing then start glitching out and shut down, ran diagnostics and found errors for communication on cntrls F6e1 f6e3 f6e2 wile testing when I would move stator and rotor unit would start to flash then stop. Removed stator and rotor finding clutch not engaging replaced clutch and found unit still glitching when engaging tub, checked stator and found windings broken and touching causing unit to go crazy then shutdown. Washer need new stator, rotor,and harness will order and call when parts are in for reschedule ; ordrng 1 W11600726 (Harness) and 1 W10897050 (Stator) and 1 W10897040 (Rotor), used 1 W10754448 (CLUTCH) from stock"

"Ran dryer and found unit would run but would not heat up, checked voltage to terminal block and found 240v present 120v on each leg, removed front panel and checked heater finding heater bad. Replaced faulty heater with new and unit is now heating and operating to specs. Customer advised me on rust on machine and found drum starting to rust and paint chip off by the baffles unit will need new drum to fix issues that is covered under ten year will order a new drum advised it would be shipped to customers house and to plz let us know when arrived ; ordrng 1 W10381481 (Drum), used 1 WP3387747 (ELEMENT) from stock"

Found stator and rotor loose causing noise tightened up and added lock tight to bolt to stop it from loosening up again. "Tested unit and found washer control panel would start beeping and selecting its own cycles when moving the knob to any cycle beside the normal, ran a diagnostic cycle and found no errors ran unit threw a self test to try and clear issue but unit would not clear found same issue unit beeping and selecting every cycle until shut off. Console and control, are faulty will need to order and schedule with a second man due to unit stacked and in a very tight spot and extra time ; ordrng 1 W11325569 (Console)"

Ruben our technician knew exactly how to fix the multiple problems with our Maytag front loader washer and our Maytag front loader dryer. He was very respectful and didn’t waste time like some companies are taught to do so they can bill a bigger bill but not Advantage. The best repair man I have ever had!! Knows his work inside and out. Having problems with the spinning cycle. Sounds like a machine gun going off for 5 minutes or more!!! Can hear it one fight up. Not acceptable at all. I want a new machine before this one blows up!!!!! Pass this on to a Manager or someone higher up please. Not happy at all.!!!! Susan Vitelli 860-306-4595.
