I had Vinny come back out to my home to replace an icemaker that he said would cost at the most 384.50. over a year ago I had had a Maytag repairman tell me that the entire door needed replacing and it would be around $1300. Vinny had been at my home a couple of weeks earlier to look at my dishwasher, and while he was here took a moment to look at the icemaker and said that there was no way I had to have the door replaced and to call and make an appointment and he would come back out and replace it, well when he came back out, he realized that he could not replace it. It would have to be the entire door which is fine. But the whole reason I had him come back out was because he told me differently, and I do not feel like I should've had to pay a service call , of almost $135 when it was his idea and going on his word that it could be repaired.
