"Upon arrival asked customer if he knew he was out of his initial 1 year warranty. He said both our company and Whirlpool says hes under warranty, called Randy to confirm out of initial warranty, informed customer hes out of the initial 1 year but does have a 60month for sealed system issues. Upon arrival he says his refrigerator is freezing things sometimes and freezer is thawing things sometimes. I informed him Im not sure what this issue is without looking at it but I would have to charge him for service today, if its sealed system only it would just be trip fee. But anything else is full labor and parts. He refused to pay and said well I should bill your company for wasting my time. I said Im sorry sir and left the call."

Each of the handful, Time the service call was created. A different problem would always arise after the repair. As it is now, our lighting does not work consistently inside this expensive refrigerator after your repair. Our beverages no longer cool after your repair.
We are sorry to hear you are unhappy with your experience. According to the service performed, our technician replaced the originally diagnosed component, verified operation through service testing, and confirmed the refrigerator was functioning properly at the time of completion.
During the visit, an additional and separate issue involving the pantry UI lighting was identified. Ryan informed you that this concern would require a separate authorization through the manufacturer, as warranty providers require individual tickets for unrelated issues.
If the manufacturer authorizes additional service for the newly reported issue, we encourage you to work directly with Whirlpool regarding next steps.

The Technician was helpful and was very forthcoming with information as to the issue with the ice maker.
I was very disappointed that I had to pay $138 dollars to be told there was an error code and that I needed to clear that code by turning the breaker off and on.
I also blame KitchenAid for not doing more to help with this issue.

I recently had service with technician name Paul 12/11. I called for service due to my control panel for my oven wasn’t functioning at all. Paul diagnosed my oven by just attempting to press buttons on my control board and stated I needed a new control broad. Paul did not remove the back panel of my oven to check if there was a wire disconnected or to see why my oven panel was not responding. Then proceeded to tell me the cost to replace the panel and stated he has the part. I ask if he will check to see if there is another problem Paul states if the panel is not functioning at all we have to replace it. I’m so disappointed at whirlpool technicians I was charge for a service that wasn’t done at all. I declined replacement repair. I called another technician from another company that actually looked and seen that a wire needed to be reconnected and my control panel did not need to be replaced in which save me hundreds. I believe I should get my money back from whirlpool for poor service! I wish I could get negative stars!
