Repair person was courteous and efficient. The problem is that this Whirlpool frig keeps breaking and each of the repairmen refuse to get in touch with the manufacturer’s master technician to run a full diagnostic and determine that the unit should be replaced, as the extended warranty company (AIG) told us Advantage should do. Frig has not worked for more than a few weeks for several years and we have lost around $1000 of food as a result. Our last repair was 2 weeks ago and I am about to call AIG again to authorize a new repair because the freezer temp is too warm. We need Advanatge to listen to us and the extended warranty company and authorize a replacement so that we can have a frig that actually works in our house after at least 5 years of a lemon.

The service technician was excellent, but they did not provide him with the correct part to replace the icemaker. The current icemaker is not tall enough so it allows the ice to flow over the bin into the freezer. There appears to be no solution from the manufacturer.
